Career Advancement Program
Employees that join Unifi through our career advancement program and work on a United Airlines contract will become preferred candidates should they later apply for a position with United Airlines.
To be eligible as a preferred United Airlines candidate, employees are required to spend a minimum of 12 months working as a Unifi employee and be in good standing.

Frequently Asked Questions
Employees that join Unifi through our career advancement program and work on a United Airlines contract for at least 12 months (and are in good standing) will become preferred candidates should they apply for a position with United Airlines.
This means that if an employee has worked for Unifi on a United Airlines contract for 12+ months, is in good standing and is interested in applying for a role with United, Unifi leadership will corporately recommend the employee for an interview with United, and their application will be prioritized by United.
You can always apply for a role with United Airlines. However, to be a preferred candidate through the program, you will need to have worked for Unifi on a United contract for a minimum of 12 months and be in good standing.
