We’re proud to share that Jim Donoghue, Chief Operating Officer, East, has been named Man of the Year by the 46th Annual Bishop Wright Aviation Industry Awards, presented by Christ for the World Chapel at John F. Kennedy International Airport.
This recognition reflects Jim’s outstanding leadership, deep commitment to people, and more than four decades of service in the aviation industry. Throughout his career, Jim has led with integrity, accountability and heart, always focused on supporting employees, serving customers and strengthening the airport communities where we operate.
Today, Jim oversees operations across more than 100 airport stations in Unifi’s North America East region, supporting hundreds of airline service contracts and more than 20,000 employees. Since joining Unifi, he has made a significant impact through his operational expertise, steady leadership and dedication to developing others.
During the ceremony, Jim spoke about leadership as responsibility: supporting the people who show up every day, treating others with dignity, and never losing sight of the humanity behind every badge, boarding pass and schedule. That perspective is exactly how Jim leads today and reflects the values we strive to live across Unifi.
